Crushing old classic cars for smog credits
Back in 1993 California had a pollution problem. California blamed the old cars, so they started a program to crush old hot rods if they were older than 1982 they would be bought and crushed. oil companies and other companies would sell these cars for an estimated $800. These companies would get smog credits for ever car they crush. witch means they could pollute more. they think they were going something good but it was worse for the environment. They knocked 80% of the "hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxide emissions" from taking the cars off the road but the companies were creating more than what they trying to fix.

There were many cars saved from this mess but the most famous one would a 67 Camaro that the hot rod magazine. It's made the cover three times and its been changed up so many times, as of right now its it powered by a blown LS7. This car is pushing almost 725 horsepower.

Tasers
the idea of the taser started in the early 1800's the first kind of taser is a well known one the "cattle prod". And from that it turned into a nonlethal weapon cops use all the time the "taser" or "stun gun". these have become a good way to sub-do a criminal without deadly force or physical force. There are all kinds of tasers ranging in different voltages ones you can use for personal protection and even ones you can shoot from a few feet away to stop the person dead in there tracks. its not the voltage that gets you its the amps the amps is what causes you to tighten and tense up you can even urinate without control when you get tasered.

witch hunt or witch craft?
I recently watched a movie in my Global Studies class called "Paradise Lost" and its about three teenagers in West Memphis Arkansas being accused of murdering three 2nd graders. the police linked the murders to be satanic and blamed these boys who wore black and listened to heavy metal music and had black hair people who thought they were weird. Well in this small town of Arkansas they thought they had had the killers but they didn't have any evidence to link them to the murders and the tried them anyway because one boy named Jessie Misskelly was forced into a false confession he was interrogated for about 12 hours and the cop recorded 45 minutes of the confession. there people lie on the stand saying they heard these boys talking about the murders but the stories never lined up or made sense. Damien Elchols studied the wicka religion witch he praises the earth he was also studying to be a Catholic preacher but he was blamed and sentenced to death three times for killing those boys. the prosecutors scared the jury into thinking they did it without evidence and sentenced they all to prison for life. its just crazy to think that you could just point fingers at innocent people blame them and send them to prison without sufficient evidence to prove they did it.

The industry and you.

There are a lot of rumors going around the every farm abuses or miss treats their animals, but i'm here to prove that yes there are a few bad apples in the bunch but were not all rotten. some of the bigger companies are Tyson, Cargill and Hormel Foods, and out of all them the beef industry is is the highest and then its pork and finally chicken. ever though beef has almost always been the dominant meat but pork is right behind beef and chicken is slowly rising higher and higher. the price is going sky high for meat. in 2013 we processed 33.2 million cattle and got 25.8 billion pounds of meat, we also processed 112 million hogs and got 23.2 billion pounds of meat. Nebraska, Kansas, and Texas slaughter the most beef, and Iowa, North Carolina, and Minnesota slaughtered the most hogs.
